e-chains® expert (60 m) app for iPhone and iPad

With the e-chains® expert for travel distances up to 60 metres, you can quickly and easily find appropriate energy chains specifically for your application, and then configure and calculate the expected service life.

In the first step, add chainflex® cables for filling your energy chain. Cable projections can also be specified here, such as optional cable labelling. In the next step enter speed, acceleration and a travel between 10 and 60 metres. Specialise the criteria of your application in the following step by entering differing environmental conditions. As a result, you will get an overview of the suitable e-chains® with useful information on each article. Provided that we have the necessary data for each energy chain, based on your input, the expected service life is also calculated and issued in double strokes. By selecting an energy chain, the interior separation and filling with the selected cables are automatically made. Then configure the selected e-chain® with appropriate accessories such as mounting brackets, guide trough or PPDS. Next, the individual items of your configuration will be issued in a detailed parts list, and you will get a price and a delivery time. Besides being able to generate this parts list as a PDF, a lot of other actions are offered, such as the display of the e-chain® and the interior separation in the igus® 3D CAD or calling up the energy chain on the igus® website. You can also transfer the configuration directly from the app to the igus® shopping cart for ordering. To order, a myigus account is required, which you can also create from the app.
